Modbus TCP Application

Hi Ti,

I am using TIRTOS to develop my project using concerto F28M35. My project is to set up communications between my concerto board to other datalogger devices via Modbus TCP protocol. Is that possible to implement this application? I have been searching around and only found the post below.

However, from this I cannot figure out is that possible to achieve it or not. Can I get some help?

Hi Ben,

As pointed out in the post, we do not have support for Modbus protocol in TI-RTOS. But TI-RTOS has a TCP/IP(NDK) which can be extended to Modbus TCP applications. You may have to add the NIMU driver for TCP over serial and implement the Modbus protocol using TI-RTOS TCP/IP APIs. The link for NIMU driver development can be found in the post.
