Dear Experts,
Please help by pointing right SW development tools for DSP and ARM cores for TCI6638K2K SoC.
Is there any RTOS from TI available with drivers for all the peripherals in the SoC?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Atanu

Hi Atanu,
The MCSDK is supporting SYS/BIOS RTOS and Linux OS for KeyStone II ARM A15 + DSP C66x.
You can download it here:

Hi,
Thank you for your quick response. Few more queries. please address them as well.
1. MCSDK and CCS 6.1.1 are interlinked or I need to use only MCSDK, please suggest.
2. For ARM cores, when we use SYS/BIOS RTOS, I hope all the drivers for on-chip SoC peripherals are available in the RTOS.

Atanu
Hi Atanu,
1. MCSDK and CCS are (more or less) independent. CCS 4.x or older releases are not supported with MCSDK.
2. Please see

Hi Atanu,
The latest MCSDK version is 3_01_04_07 which supports latest CCSv6.1 IDE.
You can get the examples and drivers which is based on SYSBIOS from the following directory after MCSDK installation.
C:\ti\pdk_keystone2_3_01_04_07\packages\ti
C:\ti\mcsdk_bios_3_01_04_07\examples
Hi Atanu,
- For ARM A15 corepac, in TCI6638K2K TI-RTOS is proven on Cortex A15 multi-cores (which is I guess enhanced version of SYS/BIOS) ?
Looks like there is a support available for keystone II device. Please download the latest SYS/BIOS and try example from below wiki.
SYS/BIOS(Refer release notes):

Please post your follow up questions on TI-RTOS forum which will not be supported in device (Keystone ) forum.
