DSP Running at Exactly 50.000MHz

I know it is out of spec. What will change and what will work differently? Certainly, for example, the UART speed will be off. I don't care about that. I anticipate using an I2C device. I imagine the speed will be slower but will it simply no longer work? I want an answer from someone who knows what is going on not someone who can quote the specification.

I may just have to try it out for myself but I was hoping someone who understands the inner workings of the chip could tell me what I could expect.

Maybe I could externally switch the CLKIN frequency to 10MHz or 5MHz after the boot loading program is done.

I can't believe that I am the only person who needs the DSP to run at exactly 50MHz.

Actually, it looks like I should be able to generate an accurate 50MHz DSP clock speed by using the 12MHz CLKIN option. If I divide the clock by 120 (RDRATIO = 116 => PLLIN = 100kHz), multiply it by 1000 (M = 996 => PLLOUT = 100 MHz), and then divide it by 2 (ODRATIO = 1 => CLKGENOUT = 50MHz). However, I want to have an external 5MHz clock that is 'in-sync' with the DSP, thus I would like to generate 50MHz by simply multiplying 5MHz by 10.

I want the DSP to execute exactly 10 instructions for every tick of my 5MHz clock.

We cannot support or endorse running the device out of spec.
If you are trying to run at 5 or 10 MHz, these are out of spec conditions, we usually test for what is in the spec and not for what will not work if you were out of spec.
I would recommend sticking with the recommended input frequencies as listed in the datasheet, for any production systems.

I am now taking the approach of generating 50.000MHz from the external 12.000MHz crystal frequency option (using the internal PLL).  I hope to have the DSP generate a 5.000MHz signal for my system (toggling an external pin).  I don't like the fact that it will probably take up a few extra lines of code to generate the 5.000MHz clock but I guess I have no choice.
