I'm using the OMAP-L137

in CCS6

with DSP/Bios 5.4

I'd really like to use the RTOS Analyzers but it states that I need a UIA. I understand that UIA are only compatible with DSP/BIOS 6x. I also understand that DSP/BIOS 6 is not supported on the TMS320C6747/OMAPL-137.

What is my best option ?

Hi Amanda,

RTOS Analyzer requires UIA on the target side, which only works with BIOS 6. However, the C674 target is supported in BIOS 6, but only ELF for the latest versions BIOS 6. There are older versions of BIOS 6 that support COF for the C674, if you needed COF support.

What are ELF and COF ?

The difficulty would be porting over the NDK.

ELF and COF are different object file formats. You can find more information here:

What version of the NDK are you using? NDK 2.x drivers use BIOS 6, but it looks like the OMAPL137 NDK driver is not supported in that version. There is a forum post related to porting the OMAPL137 NDK drivers here:

but please be aware of the warning in this post that the posted .zip file is not an official TI product, and as such, cannot be supported if you have problems with it.
