camera image in am335x

Hi,

I am using USB camera is connected to my am335x platform and trying to capture the image on LCD using Qt apps. I am using open source v4l2 libs and capturing the image using in different resolutions.

I am getting multiple frames are showing and it is flickering with different frames on my lcd. Is there any frame delay required in drivers.

Please provide complete and detailed description of your environment: Linux and Qt version, camera and LCD resolutions and FPS, etc.

Anil,

Not sure what you are trying to do. If you are using drm as display interface, you can refer to AM437x capture-display demo source code that can be found here -

You can use below gstreamer pipeline to check if display is fine without camera capture -

gst-launch-1.0 –v --gst-debug=2 videotestsrc ! 'video/x-raw,format=(string)BGRx,width=(int)800,height=(int)480' ! queue ! fbdevsink

With camera capture -

gst-launch-1.0 –v v4l2src device=/dev/video0 num-buffers=1000 io-mode=4 ! 'video/x-raw, format=(string)YUY2, width=(int)800, height=(int)480, framerate=60/1' ! queue ! fbdevsink

I am assuming you are using ti-processor-sdk version 2.0.
