Support for 1Gbps throughput using vayu board

If you are talking about TCP/UDP/IP performance using the TI NDK, the M4 isn't really fast enough to do anything beyond 100 Mbps. This is primarily due to the cache management that the core must do to operate on the buffers. So even though the physical connection can do 1Gbps, you are limited by the software and speed of the M4 core.

I guess I should also point out that if you are not using the TI NDK stack for general TCP/IP support, it is quite possible to avoid a lot of the cache overhead (for example, if you only need to look at the header but not the whole packet - like if you can avoid needing to calculate checksums) to be able to get to higher packet rates and overall bit rates.

If M4 is not able to serve the purpose, Is it possible to achieve the speed by using A15 core.?

Is it limitation on M4 core alone.?
