Will TI-RTOS pass ISO26262 with ASIL functional safety certification

Dear Experts

I got more and more customers who are asking if TI-RTOS plans to pass ISO26262 with ASIL functional safety certification?

Since we port TI-RTOS on many different TI MCU and Wireless MCU product lines.

Customer claimed that RTOS can process this certificate standalone without CPU.

Are you familiar with this?

    There are no definite plans to do ASIL certification of TI-RTOS, although it is something that we are starting to look at. I can check with our safety certification experts, but I'm not sure it's possible to do a standalone certification for the RTOS. I would advise you contact me again early next year and I can give you an update on whether we are planning to go forward with safety certification.
