Hello everybody!

How about a stable version of the C5000 Connected Audio Framework (now I see Beta release for download only) and how about supporting this project in the near future at all? Can I expect in the next three years, for example? Also I'm interested for possibility applying this environment for 5515 EZDSP platform. What are the limits or issues?

Hi Igor,

We are currently evaluating improvement for this software, but at this time there are no immediate plans to move out of beta.

I'll defer to the technical support team on limits/issues with running this on C5515 EZDSP.

Not aware of any specific limits.
Talking to folks on the team , this is covered on the CAF wiki

CAF should work on C5515 eZdsp with some code porting:
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../C5000_Connected_Audio_Framework

Some additional pointers from the team
Will have to bootload from the NOR flash on C5515 instead of SD card.

C5515 eZdsp has codec on I2S0, SD on I2S1 (not bootable)
C5535 eZdsp has codec on I2S2, SD on I2S0 (bootable)
