this is less of a documentation issue, rather of a functional issue, i.e. what is actually at the pin, and whether I2C6 is in fact removed. The latest datasheet seems to be consistent about that.

Latest datasheet should be the leading document, especially if this is mentioned in the revision history.

The functionality is officially removed and will not be supported. I2C6 should be considered non-existent.

I may need to back-track on my previous statement.  I'm getting some different messages between Catalog and Automotive.  I suspect there may have been some miscommunication on this item.

First, it's worth noting that I2C6 was something that was added specifically in J6Eco (AM571x).  In other words, I2C6 is physically not present in Vayu (AM572x).

I'm working first with the automotive team to understand if there's anything noteworthy (beyond that it's new) related to this part.  It sounds like there might be some extra considerations.  Then I think we need to realign with Catalog to determine if the right decision was made in removing I2C6 from AM571x documentation.
