AM335x - OPUS Codec support

Hello Sitara experts,

I found some old threads talking about the OPUS codec with Sitara, but I wanted to check if the status had changed. Do we now have built in support, or do people still need to use a workaround for the OPUS codec?

Hi,

I can't find this codec in the software manifest: software-dl.ti.com/.../software_manifest.htm

You could check what is supported in the libgstlibav.so: cgit.freedesktop.org/.../

As per this post (e2e.ti.com/.../262997) the OPUS codec should be integrated in version 0.8.4 (and later) of libavcodec.
