Chroma downsampling using VPE not working in PSDK 02.00.00.00

Hi,

I am trying to use testvpe application of PSDK 02.00.00.00 for AM5728 for chroma downsampling. The application has successfully completed the operation, but the output file is not proper. Does VPE in this release has any limitation with respect to down sampling?

Nikhil,

I have attached the input and output files.

Input file:TC_720p_YUYV_input.yuv
output file: TC_720p_NV12_output.yuv

Below is the command used for downsampling:

testvpem2m TC_720p_YUYV_input.yuv 1280 720 yuyv TC_720p_NV12_output.yuv 1280 720 nv12 0 3

I have refered to processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Core_VPE_User's_Guide for the usage of the testvpem2m test application.

There is bug in the testvpe application with proc SDK 02.00.00.00 release. This should get addressed in next SDK release.
