We want to replace DM3730 with AM3354.

Our application software coding with QT run in Linux, use only the ARM in DM3730,

Does our application run faster in AM3354?

Our Software Engineer said: application run slower in AM3354, because AM3354 RAM witdh is 16bit. Is that right?

Please compare their performance.

AM437X has Cortex-A9 MPU, against Cortex-A8 in AM335X/DM37X. You will find the AM437X benchmarks too in the AM335X link I posted.

DM3730: LPDDR @ 200 MHz x 32-bit
AM335x: DDR3 @ 400 MHz x 16-bit

Overall throughput should be approximately the same when using DDR3 or DDR3L.

The AM437x is definitely better, though it's also more expensive. It all depends on how much performance you want to pay for. The links from Biser should help.
