Hello I am writting  my Thesis and i  am looking for a small system that could merge two camera images and show the whole to a display.
first i would like  to give you more informations about the cameras : Cam1 (768 X 578  25 Hz/Cameralink and BNC)  + Cam2 (768 X 288  25 Hz/Cameralink and BNC) + Display (800 X 600  60Hz/VGA).

Could someone here tell me which Board or development Kit or microcontroller i can use to realize this application?

    Please take a look at www.ti.com for video/image application information. And also take a look at the Wiki pages for informative topics on various processor families that can be used for capturing camera inputs.

    The DaVinci family of devices are the most obvious solutions for you. The DM355 and DM365 come to mind first, but they might not have enough ports for you. The DM647/DM648 have plenty of ports, as does the DM6467. Each of these has an EVM evaluation board that you can also learn more about on www.it.com and the Wiki pages.
