Dear everyone,

The following information was showed in my console. I wonder if it is a proplem of Gel or cmd file?

CCS version:6.1.1; MCSDK: 3.01.04.07; The default tcievmk2l.gel is chosen.

C66xx_0: GEL Output: DDR begin

C66xx_0: Trouble Reading Memory Block at 0x8000 on Page 0 of Length 0x4: (Error -1190 @ 0x8000) Unable to access device memory. Verify that the memory address is in valid memory. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 6.0.14.5)

C66xx_0: File Loader: Verification failed: Target failed to read 0x00008000

Please make sure that you set boot mode to "DSP no-boot" mode, its required when ever you work with CCS & JTAG.

Keep always "1111" DSP no-boot mode (little endian)

I'd suggest first power cycling the board, and then try to reconnect to the board.

If its not working also try to enable adaptive clocking...

Also we recommend you to start a new thread on CCS forum. Are you loading pre-built images of MCSDK or custom project images? We recommend you to check the pre-built images of MCSDK to start with. Thank you.

This problem doesnot seems to me like not the loading error but the emulator error.

A first step might be to update TI Emulators via the Help->Check for Updates menu in CCS. The latest version should be 6.0.14.5.

After updating, launch the target configuration file, select the appropriate device and the emulator and try out the "Test connection option" which will result whether you are able to establish communication between the target and teh PC using the emulator.
