Reg PMIC(TPS65910A) interfacing of AM3352 Processor

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65910A, AM3352

HI ,

I am interfacing PMIC(TPS65910A) interfacing with AM3352 Processor. As per AM3352 power sequence, PMIC pins value to be  BOOT1=1 and BOOT0 =0 which is EEPROM boot mode, recommneded in TPS65910x user guide for AM335X . While in PMIC datasheet on page no 38, BOOT1=0, BOOT0= 1. is given as EEPROM mode. IN PMIC datasheet BOOT1=1, BOOT0= 0 is not given so  i want to check if it is typing mistake in PMIC datasheet. Whihc power sequence i should refer in PMIC datasheet for AM335X mpu  power sequence.

I want to confirm that what should be the actual boot mode pin value(BOOT1=?, BOOT0= ?) for Am3352 MPU for TPS65910A.

Regards

  • Page 48 of the TPS65910A data manual has a table for BOOT0 and BOOT1 configurations. The configuration BOOT1=1 and BOOT0=0 corresponds to "EEPROM sequence". The paragraph following the table says, "For details of EEPROM sequence refer to the user guides on the product folder." For AM335x, the corresponding document is this one:
