Hi,

I would like to replace the power adapter for the TMS320C6748 LCDK as i have misplaced the existing one. Could you please give me the current specifications? The voltage was 5V DC and current was 1A or 3A? A clarification on the current rating would be great.

We ship the LCDK boards with power adapter DC 5V, 3A current rating.

You can also use more current rated adapter also.

Smita,

In LCDK board, we have used DC jack with contact diameter of 2.5mm and port diameter of 6.3mm. Please refer below link where you can find the mechanical dimensions.

Hi Titus and Senthil,
I've been looking around for an AC-DC adapter with 5V, 3A 2.5mm contact diameter specifications but unable to get one so far. We have procured both the TMS320C6748 LCDK and OMAP L138 LCDK from the TI store. May i know if the adapter can be exclusively procured from the TI store? Or any pointers on where i could purchase the adapter will be helpful too!

I don't think you can procure the DC power adapter alone from the TI estore. However i can give you the power adapter details, so that you check online.

Make: CUI Inc
Model: EMSA050300
Input: 100-240V~, 50-60Hz, 0.6A
Output: 5V DC, 3.0A
