Hi,
I am having an upcoming project to design a videophone application. Input CVBS signal will come from an analog camera. It needs to be processed and then displayed to a color TFT LCD in real time.
The design will additionally have Ethernet, USB capabilities.
So far, I could identify the video decoder TVP5150 but I am confused about selecting video processor. I am looking for a chip which is available in QFP like package (specifically BGA package is a NO) and the operating frequency should be near 100MHz (so as to avoid the design complexity).
Is it possible to get some processor of such kind? I could find a lot of processors (TMS320DM643 for e.g. or OMAP35xx) from TI but all of them are in BGA package.
Also, for Ethernet, USB, I need to add another MCU or the video processor will have these facilities?
What development tools will be required?
Tried to contact TI local office but no person is reachable even after calling for 2/3 times.
