Compression and Decompression register details of DM8168

Dear Pavel,

I have DM8168 Reference Manual for DM8168 but i cannot find the reference manual of codec of DM8168 with register details. Can you mail me where to download the files?

The HDVICP2 registers are not exposed since all processing is handled internally by the Media Controller. Access is through standard Linux drivers.

Dear Sir,

Can we write Non-OS program of DM8168 processor? Because i am struggling to write program for codec. There is no data sheet for that. mail me where to download the files?

Hi Balaji,

Yes you can write Non-OS application on M3 processor of 8168. What exactly you are trying write?. Codec release comes with test application written for Non-OS media-controller processor M3, you can refer this and write your application.

I have source code of DSP/BIOS software but don't have source code Lowest Level HW API. Can you provide me source code of DM8168 which will run on DM8168 and connect DSP/BIOS and Lowest Level HW API?
