Flash interfacing with C6416

Hello,
I am interfacing a flash with DSP. I just want to know that can i place this flash on EMIFA? if yes than how DSP will bootup?

Depends on the boot mode, the DSP would choose the flash devices during power ON.
Yes, you can interface flash devices (NAND,NOR) on EMIFA.

Hello!
Most likely flash can be placed on EMIFA if you're considering just possibility. But since you asked about boot, please remember, that C641x can boot only from EMIFB, not EMIFA. And since booting process goes in 8 bit mode, there is no benefit in placing flash with boot image on EMIFA.
