Sometimes TI documentation speak about "DSP/BIOS", sometimes they speak about "SYS/BIOS". What is the difference?

Jerry,
Sorry for the confusion. The product is currently going through a name transition, so documentation may conflict for a while and I can see how this will be confusing. For many years, RTOS product has been called "DSP/BIOS", which reflected the fact that it was specifically designed for TI DSP chips and DSP cores on TI's SoC products. However, we are starting to port the RTOS to non-DSPs (such as microcontrollers).
To this end, the name of the product is being changed to "SYS/BIOS" to indicate its more generic purpose. The official name cutover will actually happen with the release of version 6.30.
