Hello,
I'm looking for an application note that describes how to connect HPI Interface of TI DSPs (TMS320TCI6482 for ex.) with Freescale QorIQ processors.
Thanks,
NK

Support questions concerning the TMS320TCI6482 should be forwarded to your direct support personnel. Support personnel for these devices do not monitor the E2E forum. If you do not have a direct support contact, then please choose a different DSP to use for your application.
Hi RandyP,
Thank you for your reply.
I gave the C6482 DSP as an example but my question is general about connectivity with HPI interface. You can assume we ask about C6412 also.
We have TI application note:
TMS320C6000 Host Port to MPC860 Interface
SPRA546A - August 2001 Does TI have a similar application note for HPI connectivity with Freescale QorIQ procssors?
Thank you, NK
Have you compared the signals and timing of the MPC860 with the Freescale QorIQ processor you want to use? Since Freescale used to be Motorola, it would make sense that there are similarities.
Have you considered moving to a TI Sitara-class ARM processor for your Host CPU requirements?
Have you considered a multi-core device like the OMAP-L138 and DaVinci DM6467T processors to give you both the Host ARM controller and the DSP in one device?
All of our app notes and design support are available on the web through either www.ti.com or the TI Wiki pages, plus you will want to search these forum pages for other users who may have posted questions more related to your specific requirements. But even if there is not an app note already written for your specific combination of devices, the similarities with other devices like the MPC860 may be sufficient to help you complete your design.
