AM5728 EVM vs DRA7xx EVM

Hi,

                         Is AM5728 & DRA7xx EVM hardware is different? Can I use AM5728 SDK for DRA7xx EVM, as both the processors are almost identical AM55728 and OMAP5777. I am having DRA7xx EVM only and i want to experiment with released AM57xx EVM SDK with pin mux changes according to DRA7xx EVM ?

    Yes there are differences between the two boards.

    Changes in pinmux will not be sufficient. The two boards use different configuration files, also you'll need to change the bootloader (DDR settings). Additionally you'll have to port the kernel drivers, i.e. display driver, VIP, also the GUI & filesystem may require some modifications in order to run smoothly on DRA7xx EVM.
