C6701 run abort error

hello,

I am using c6701, I run my project, but sometimes the dsp run abort with all interal and external memory filled with 0x2A002A00, and also all registers include pc, sp registers data is 0x2A002A00, I am not sure what is the problem. Can anyone help me?

Hi Si,
Are you using any TI example or your own code ?
Could you attach the screen shot of the problem when you get the abort.
Able to reproduce the problem ?

Hi Shankari,
I use my own code, some project is ok, but if I add some module code to the normal project, when it doesn't execute the added module, it will run error, and I make sure that the added module has no problem. The problem can reprodece, but the abort is not everytime the same line happened.
I am sorry I can't give you the screen shot of problem, because the board is others, I just help them debug.

Hi Si,

After adding your module have you tried putting breakpoints and done step-by-step execution , you might get to know after which instruction your application is failing.

Hi Arvind Singh,

I am using ccs3.3 IDE ,and I did't step by step execution and without breakpoint, the abort point is not all time the same.
