DM365 - speed grade identification?

Hi,

Can you help clarify if there is a register in the dm36x that provides the device speed grade rating of the chip, and example: 400 MHz vs 297 MHz?

I found the Device ID register in the System Module section, but this does not have a field defined for device speed grade.Looking in sprz294d.pdf, section 1.2 Revision Identification describes the device markings, but is there a way to determine this when running code?

No, you can only discern this via the package markings as per the Device Nomenclature section of the DM365 Silicon Errata document.

See answer above. You can only distinguish one part from another via the markings on the package.

Hi Jeff,

Regarding speed grade and device marking:

In what speed grade are the devices marked with TMS320DM365ZCEF?

- This GPN is given at page 207 of SPRS457D and page 6 of the SPRZ294D but no speed grade is associated to it.

- The Device nomenclature at page 47 of the datasheet indicates 21, 27 and 30 as possible marking for speed.
But there are no indication for "no speed marking".

I would assume that it is the lowest speed grade so TMS320DM365ZCEF is specified for 210 Mhz. Is it correct?

This device is

300 MHz ARM, 270 MHz DDR, Face Detect enabled.
