How to load UBoot on a new in-house OMAP-L138 chip

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hi,

We are designing a prototype with an OMAP-L138. We have been using Logic PDs EVM currently for development so we would like to know how we will be able to load the bootloader used in the Logic PD EVM into our custom prototype.

I would appreciate if you can provide information on the SW tool to use, where to get the UBoot binary, and such.

Thanks.

  • Grant,

Do you intend to use SPI boot like the Logic PD EVM?  If so, you would just need to hook up a SPI flash and configure your bootstrap pins for SPI boot like the EVM.
