We have custom board in which we have interfaced 2GB emmc on MMC0 interface.

Q1: How can i access and format my emmc with fat file system ?

Q2: how can i copy my app and mlo files to emmc to bootup?

as i am using staterware and i don't think there is an example how can make AM3358SK to behave like a card reader to give me access to eMMc using Windows OS;

Please help.

TI's StarterWare does not have any MMC-support, you need to use the community version from https://sourceforge.net/projects/starterwarefree/

This version also comes with a more recent version of FatFS, may be it offers possibilities to format your MMC. An example that demonstrates how storage devices can be accesed as some kind of thumb drive can be found in project usb_dev_msc

The starterWare example usb_dev_msc do allocate 16MB of RAM as Mass Storage but there is Nothing to do with eMMc.
please correct me if i am wrong.

This example shows how to set-up USB device for usage as mass storage device. Internally it indeed uses a RAM area for storage, but this can be easily replaced by some FatFS calls accessing eMMC.

Yeah, But first of all your eMMC should be properly format in FATFs, that's still a problem and then comes the replacing calls to FatFs.

can you please provide me some examples?

And how can i be sure, even if i could write MLO and app files to eMMC in FATFs, that My AM3358 Stater KIT will boot-up from eMMc?Please provide me some insight in this matter also ...
