AM437x Bluetooth (HCI over USB) interface

Hi,

I have an AM437X EVM and I am facing some issues when I try to interface a Bluetooth module (BT111). The hcitool cannnot find the bluetoooth device and I cannot use the Bluetooth device.

I am a beginner and I don't know how to debug this issue. Can anyone please help me with this?

I got it working. I used the command "hciconfig hci0 up".

Hi ,
This is quit old post but if you still have any idea about how do you integrated it.

like config requirements and firmware package for BT111-A-HCI, form where you get that.

I have the same setup i don't know how to proceed for making it up. Any help regarding this
will be helpful for me.

Hi Vimal,

Make sure you have enabled the following kernel configuration

CONFIG_BT
CONFIG_BT_HCIBTUSB

Please do let us know the kernel version. Also share dmesg logs if still not detecting in kernel after enabling the above configuration

Hi Vimal,

Also would suggest to start a new post sighting details of your issue like kernel version, dmesg logs, whats tried etc so that it can be addressed by more people. Piggy backing on an old post may not fetch attention like a new post would from the community.
