TI-RTOS FatFS Using SDSPI F28069

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28069, CONTROLSUITE

Hi,

I would like to collect data on an SD Card such as opening and writing to a simple file. However, the FatFs uses the SDSPI drivers provided by TI-RTOS. I've checked high and low and I couldn't find the option to enable SDSPI  within TI-RTOS on TMS320F28069. It looks as though this is intrinsically tied to the SDSPI driver and it is not intended to be used by a typical TI provided spi library. The version of TI-RTOS we are using is TI-RTOS C2000 - 2.10.1.38.

  • Is SDSPI currently supported on this chipset?
  • Is there still a way to use Ti-RTOS FatFs without using SDSPI driver?

Thanks!

Nolan

  • Hi Nolan,
TI-RTOS does not have drivers for the F28069. You might see what's available in controlSuite. I don't even see an SD card slot on my F28069, though, so I'm not sure you'll find anything in controlSuite either.
    Best regards,
    Janet
