about dm8127 m3 SPI driver

HW: dm8127

SW: ipnc_rdk3.8

I'm developing with dm8127 ipnc.And in the 3.8 sdk, all the cmos sensors use I2c communication with dm8127.But now the sensor which I use is the SPI like IMX036.can I get some help with the spi developing ? thanks

Hi,

We have IMX136 sensor integrated into IPNC RDK ver 3.8 which also uses SPI for the sensor programming.

This SPI is implemented using GIOs.

You may check the driver code at '..\ti_tools\iss_03_80_00_00\packages\ti\psp\devices\imx136_LIMG'

hi Anand!

thanks for you answer.I read the code,but I find it is used gpio to simulate SPI . Although these gpios have the SPI functions,but they were initialized as the common gpio. And this will reduce the cpu efficiency. As I want to use the spi function ,what should I do ? Can you give me some ideas? thanks a lot .

Hi,

Yes, i understand but we don't have McSPI driver that runs on M3.
Therefore the SPI functionality was emulated using GIOs.
