problem to get to u-boot

Hello,

i have my own board based on AM3359 processor.

the sysboot is configure to boot from uart.

i connected the uart, and sent with X-Modem the u-boot-spl.bin file. and it was succesful, i saw this line on teraterm: U-Boot SPL 2014.07 (Sep 21 2015 - 03:29:33)

but when i send the u-boot.img through Y-Modem, nothing happens... (right after i get the above line).

any suggestions what can i do?

thanks for the answer, i will take a look in this links.

but one quick question -
when i'm transfering the u-boot-spl.bin file through X-Modem, what happens?
isn't the fact that i see the print that i mentioned in the first post prove that it is in the DDR? where does the file sits?

SPL is loaded into internal SRAM. It executes from there. One of the most important things SPL does is to configure the external DDR, load U-boot in it and transfer execution to U-boot.
