Hi,

I am working with the pspiom package (pspdrivers_01_30_00) using CCS3 and bios_5_33_05 on the OMAPL138EVM platform. There are several examples that I have tried to build, all with the same two errors:

1. The .tcf file build javascript throws a typeError exception: Can not set property ENABLE of undefined to "1"

2. Can not open source file "pwrmL138.h"

I must be missing a step, I have looked for similar issues here, but no luck.

Please see the release notes at:

You need to use:

DSP/BIOS™ 5.41.02.14

To get the latest version:

http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/index.html

After Installing, open CCS, go to the menu Help -> About. Click on Component Manager. The component manager screen will open. Expand the Target Content (DSP/BIOS) list. Expand the lists for TMS320C64XX and TMS320C67XX and select Texas Instruments DSP/BIOS 5.33.05 on both lists. Go to the menu, File -> Save to save the configuration. Restart CCS for the changes to take effect.

Thanks Mariana,

I am planning to use a framework based on the mcasp audio driver sample with the dsplink library added for GPP-DSP communication.

Do I need to use a specific version of dsplink as well?

I currently have dsplink_linux_1_65_00_1 code.

Yes, that version should be fine.

Yes, but thanks for pointing it out to me.

My post: http://e2e.ti.com:80/support/dsp/omap_applications_processors/f/42/p/38132/147459.aspx explains the issues I had using it. I have not tried to run CCS and Linux together using the infinite loop debug technique. Are the dip switches set to default for this? I have seen the technique described for other boards on the dsplink wiki.

I have to bug you with two more questions:

If I have two GPP processes, each with their own proc load, attach, and delete methods, the DSP will only be loaded and run on the first process, and the proc functions for load and run are called but ignored in subsequent processes?

Does dsplink, also then reference count on when to actually shut down?
