EVM6678 : Programming Application in NAND BOOT

Hi all,

I'm using ti EVM320C6678LE as my digital signal processor.

I want to load up "led_play.out" from the guide book into the NAND Flash Memory so that whenever I start the DSP with NAND Boot Image 0, I can see User Led flashing.

I've been searching in the forums and guide pdf but just can't seem to find the direct steps in how to load up application into the NAND Flash Memory.

I have tried with the NOR flash memory and it seems to work fine.

Any tips on programming an application in NAND Flash Memory and run it whenever the DSP is turned on?

I'm using CCSv6 in Windows 8.1 64-bit

Hi Gwang Hyun Son,

The direct NAND booting is not supported on C6678 EVM. You need to use IBL based solution for this. Please refer the MCSDK user guide for NAND booting. Please find the latest download and user guide link below my signature.

Since the direct NAND booting is not available on C6678 EVM, I want to use the Intermediate Boot Loader to load up an application, led_play.out, on my board using NAND Boot Mode via IBL over I2C. I need instructions on how to set it up.
