Stoping EMA_CLK while self-refresh state

Hi

My customer use a L138. It's connected to the SDRAM the EMIFA on their board.

Here is the question.
They'd like to stop the EMA_CLK while in the self-refresh state.
How setting does the L138 stop the EMA_CLK?

I think that it changes the PINMUX setting for stopping clock. Is this correct?　Isn't there any other way?

Hi Avrind,

My question is not EMIFB(DDR) but EMIFA(SDRAM) I/F.
EMIFA register doesn't have MCLKSTOPEN function.

Do you have any information for EMIFA?

Why do you want to stop the EMIFA clock when its in self refresh mode ? (not sure PLL self refresh or SDRAM self refresh)
More power saving ?

I hope it would run at very minimal clock i.e 8MHz

Yes, you can do pimuxing to stop the clock, its better one, I hope no other way to stop the EMIFA clock (Its clock from direct SYSCLK3 or DIV4.5)
Do the PINMUX EMA_CLK pin to GPIO (GP2[7]) functionality.

PINMUX6_3_0 -> EMA_CLK/PRU0_R30[5]/GP2[7]/PRU0_R31[5] Control

Dear Titus,

Yes, my customer want to reduce the more power consumption in self refresh state. So they want to stop the EMIFA clcok .
