Hello everybody,

I have a problem with TMS320C6418 viterbi co-processor. I have read spru533d and write a code for viterbi coprocessor. However I try to configure it and give a run, It doesnot works.

In this code, I used CSL library for viterbi configuration and viterbi start functionality. EDMA channels are confıgured for BM transfer. Beside that I have check the loaded configuration and error status of the viterbi co-processor in each step of the code.

I give a start command to viterbi co-processor, neither it did generate a EDMA event nor return error status.

Does anybody have a demo code for viterbi configuration?

I do not know too much about the VCP peripheral, but I wanted to show you this app note in case you had not yet seen it. Perhaps some of this information can point you in the right direction.

Thank you veri much Mr. Harron. It realy help me to progress further.

But I just realize that I got an error coded 0x4 but it is not defined in the spru533d. Do you have any idea what is the reason of it? do you have other error codes which are not defined in the spru533d?
