  • Hi Joshua,

Could you try to make some other SD card? I recommend you to use a SD card by different manufacture because I see a disturbing error message in the uboot log:
Card did not respond to voltage select!
which is caused by the following error code:
        UNUSABLE_ERR -17 /* Unusable Card */

  • There is no SD card, as that is only used to update the eMMC with U-Boot.

When the SD card is present the CD also switches the SYSBOOT to boot from SD Card, otherwise it boots directly from the eMMC.
I believe this is very similar to the AM57xx-EVM/Beaglebone_x15.

    Thanks for offering suggestions.

  • Hi Tsvetolin,

I am in Catalog Processors BD.  The associated FAE with this project indicates that while the customer is still most likely going to use Mentor again for this design, and they have supplied them with the same layer set which uses the latest kernel and u-boot; they would still like to obtain some answers from us regarding this build situation, as it is still unresolved from their perspective.

The customer really hasn't done much in terms of direct customization (yet). Any insight appreciated.  It is my understanding that Ron Birkett has looked at this issue separately, as it was originally posted in two different areas of the forum. See also HERE.
