AM5728 Pinmux to devicetree

Hey,

Am new to work on Device trees. Can i get a help to build a custom device tree from the data that i have generated from Pinmux utility? Any lead would be of great help.

Hi,

There is no direct tool to convert pinmux data to device tree. You must check the documentation inside the Linux SDK on how to create device tree entries.

As am new to development on TI/ARM environment, am looking for a good documentation or anything as such to go ahead. Ready to sign an NDA in my personal capacity if you can share any thing useful in that regard. Badly struck and desperate for any leads!

The Linux SDK can be downloaded here: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html Check for documentation both on this page and inside the SDK after you install it.

Thanks for the response, as i see the files generated by pinmux utility has "paddelay". How is it relevant to the device tree we finally need?
