I want to use MMC and an SRAM (static RAM) on EMIFA.

Wath is the maximum available memory size on each CS, in this configuration?

 

Remark: I am using 256Mbyte (4x128Mx4) SDRAM on CS0.

    Hi Gilles

    Please be careful if you want to hook up 256 MB using EMIFA SDRAM (CS0), using 4 memories.  Please see the datasheet

    http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/omap-l138.pdf (Pg 105, Table 6-18, and Section 6.10.3 that highlights the limitation on the number of memory loads on EMIFA ).

    The MMC module on OMAPL138 is MMCv4.0 compliant (the datasheet will eventually be updated to reflect this, right now it shows v3.3) , so this would give you support for less then 2GB MMC cards.

    Each CS for EMIFA for async interface will allow to hook up upto 32MB.
