CRS_DV pin failure detection

Hi,

In our AM3352 application we are using RMII mode for Ethernet connection.
Everything works well but sometimes we have short glitch on RMII_CRS_DV pin
and as a result we cannot receive RxD data.
We are trying to find out the root cause for the glitch on RMII_CRS_DV pin.

Meanwhile we are trying to find if there are any software solution to
avoid RxD data loss when there is a glitch on CRS_DV pin.
With our current findings we believe the next data is ignored when there
is a glitch on CRS_DV pin.

We would like to know if there is any Register or any indicator in
AM3352 to know if there is failure on CRS_DV pin?

Starterware is supported on this forum: e2e.ti.com/.../790 Please ask there. If you are using the NDK the correct forum is: e2e.ti.com/.../355

This forum supports only the Linux SDK.

Thank you for the information.

I shall try to ask the same on the suggested forum,
but as it is related to hardware, it would be helpful if we get some advice on this forum.

As we could not post the actual oscilloscope capture I tried to draw it as shown below.
Sometimes we get a glitch on the CRS_DV pin and in turn the data (RxD0/RxD1) is ignored on AM3352.

We are trying to find out the hardware cause, but if possible we would like to know
if there is any register or features in AM335x CPSW to overcome errors on CRS_DV pin.
Like...if there is any register to know if the CRS_DV is valid or not?
As you can see in the picture, after the glitch, the CRS_DV is asserted back and
the data on RXD[1:0] should be valid.
