I am using DM8148 and latest Ezsdk , I am getting a stream from ip camera , though i am loosing half of the frames while tryng to store them on graphic display buffer ?

What should i do to get a better frame rate ? A8 core running at 1 GHz and DDr clk at 533 MHz . Is there any way with which i can get a better fps ?

Yes , i am using Fb . Tried V4l2 as well but my data is RGB so it will take more time in converting it to YUV and then displaying it.... so my best chance is with graphics Display.

I am using only the Graphic Plane , Not any of the video layer .

This is what i am doing

loop{
opening socket
Getting the frames in a buffer ...
stoping socket
storing them in display buffer after processing
}

I would like to know if there is any way with which i can assign data capturing and Calculation using DSP core and store it on a memory and A8 to read data from there and display it on Screen ?
