BBB LCD 24bit RGB888 Set-up

Hello

I'm not sure if this is a question for the Ti community or beaglebone forum but my question is:

1) How would I go around using a 800x480 24bit SDR(RGB888) display with a frame rate of 120Hz for the BBB.

I'm basically using a near eye display module which is like the one used on Google Glass, the display module does not require VSYNC or HSYNC.

The BBB is currently using Debian 7.8 release 01/03/2015.

Hi,

Debian is supported over on the Beagleboard forums. This forum supports only the TI Linux SDK.

While Debian is supported by beaglebone , it's probably a good question to ask if it is possible to run my display under the TI Linux SDK as it all comes down to hardware features and limits etc.

From hardware perspective 800x480@120Hz would require a pixel clock of max. ~60MHz, which is supported by the AM335X LCD controller.

Sorry for the late reply, How would a go around configuring the BBB with Ti SDK to use my display. The LCD connection is per the instructions in the AM335x Silicon Errata under section 3.1.1.

Is there a step back step guide to do this?
