We have 2 almost identical boards with DM8148: one with TVP-7002 (analog input) connected to the Port0 16 bit, another with the ADV-7611 (DVI input) connected to the same port in the same manner exactly.
We also have the McFW based application, which works fine with TVP-7002, which produces the BT-1120 protocol with embedded sync.
But when we run it on the board with ADV-7611, the capture does not receive even a single frame.
We checked everything coming to the head - ADV emits BT-1120 clocks, we see that bits 14-15 of the BT-1120 sometimes go high, which we believe to be the embedded syncs.
The questions is: what can be checked else to locate the problem? Are there any indicators in some CPU registers, which may indicate/localize the problem? Some DMA byte counters, error registers, etc.
