No output , forever running mode TMS320VC5509A example

Did the GEL run on the target before you loaded/ran the example?
The boot mode selector switches are also correctly set as described in the TRM?

Hi Lali,

Thanks for your reply. The GEL is running successfully as I can see in console window

C55xx: GEL Output: C5509_Init Complete.
C55xx: GEL Output: Gel StartUp Complete.

And about boot mode switch selection I am wondering how to select it I have been through SPRA375F application report about boot loading but I don't know how to select the required switch mode or tot check in which mode am I working.

Hi,

Now all the example codes are working the problem was that the JTAG was responding slow so I try to run another example where I can see the printed output in console window it took 15 minutes for debugging and then show the response. Later when I try with other examples and the led blinking example they all work fine. Thanks for your help I was able think in other way from your response.
