What is real action of AM5728 when SD boot failed?

Hi,

I have one question regarding SD boot.

According to the Figure 33-24 of AM572x TRM, SD boot is failed when SD card device is not detected.

When the "SD card not detected" failure occurs when SD booting, how does AM5728 behave as real action? Some interrupt is generated?

It goes to the next device in the boot list. See Figure 33-7 for the entire boot flowchart.

If next device does not existed, does ROM code fail into "Dead loop" as figure 33-7?

Yes, at that point the device will wait for the watchdog to reset it so that the whole sequence can be repeated. However you should be aware of Errata Advisory i862, which is valid for current SR1.1 devices.
