main function is a task?

Hello,

TM4C129X based custom board with TI-RTOS 2.14.

When I call a I2C_transfer function in the main function, it goes to an exception handler with error message "this must be called from a task context". is main function not considered as a Task?

Narendra,

No, main() is not considered a Task. The Task scheduler starts after leaving main(), via the BIOS_start() function call. Please see “3.1 SYS/BIOS Startup Sequence” in Bios_User_Guide.pdf (…\tirtos_tivac_2_14_04_31\products\bios_6_42_03_35\docs\Bios_User_Guide.pdf).
