Hi there,

i want to customize my SDK Linux for the Beaglebone Black by using Yocto Project.

The only thing i want to add is my customized 10.1'' Display settings into the image.

How can i do that?

You can modify the recipe and apply the changes as a patch.

Hi Kemal,

could you give me a little bit more details.
I have followed the image buildings already but which recepie from TI should i modify?
As far as i understood, i need to change or add a device tree file with my display timing and settings. I know i have to change the setEnv.txt file for adding the .dto file to it, but i am missing the steps to how create one and add it to the right place.

In this case If you don't have the needed changes ready, adjusting the timings by rebuilding the whole SDK doesn't seem so relevant. You better first adjust the settings in <SDK install dir>/board-support/linux-<version>/arch/arm/boot/dts/am335x-boneblack.dts.
