DaVinci 365 vs 368 for my application

Hello! My hardware that i will test consists of one video input, one output, bluetooth or WiFi interface (esp8266) and an SD card to save videos.

I compares the two SOCs but i couldnt figure out which one to buy. Specifically, i am more concerned about the SD card interface. Does both these SOCs support it?

Nick,

The processors support all of the same features, but the DM368 is faster than the DM365. See the following: www.ti.com/.../sprabb2.pdf

Both processors support SD.

Out of curiosity, how are you planning on connecting the esp8266 up? Over serial?

Thank you so much! How to connect the esp8266? Actually, no clue. This is the first time i will be doing something this big, my experience comes wtih AVRs and arduinos. SPI i guess... Now about the libraries to use... I dont know? Is there a port for linux... Everything goes, ill see as i get the chips.

One thing is for sure, i will be asking a lot of questions in the forum, so you'll see how i do it eventually... ;)
