Hi,

We have designed a custom DM8148 board. I was able to connect to JTAG all these days , suddenly after programming NAND flash through JTAG and tried to connect JTAG I observed "error connecting to the target connect to prsc failed".

Please let me know how to resolve this

Hi Madhura,

1. Can you try to boot your board from NAND and verify it is working (non-damaged) board before trying to attach with JTAG to it? It is possible your board to be damaged, thus not able to connect JTAG on it.

2. Can you try to set other boot mode (not NAND) and then try to attach with the JTAG?

3. Do all of the DM814x JTAG signal (EMU0/1, TRSTn, TMS, TDO, TDI, RTCK, TCLK) go only to the JTAG connector? Or these DM814x JTAG signals are connected to something else (i.e. other external chips, FPGA, CPLD)?

4. Make sure you are connecting the JTAG to the Cortex-A8 ARM core (not to C674x DSP or other core).
