TMS320LC31PQ40 versus SM320LC31PQM40EP

Hi,

I have an avionics customer using the TMS320LC31PQ40 which is now obsolete. teher is an EP part SM320LC31PQM40EP. We are trying to determine if these two devices are pin, software and functionally identical - can you help?

Both TMS320LC31PQ40 and SM320LC31PQM40EP are pin to pin compatible and functionally identical device. The SM320LC31PQM40EP device supports military standards with operating temperature of − 55°C to 125°C.
