Dear all,

We are working on c6657 DSP/Processor  using SYS/BIOS bios_6_40_03_39. We have noticed that this version has a critical bug in the module GateMutexpri.  

We are in the middle of testing period of a commercial product. It is extremely critical to upgrade the Sys/Bios. We need to know if this is issue affect the c6657 platform that using the 7.4.14 compiler. in addition to this we need a patch in order to fix this manually without change the  version of the BIOS

    Hi George,

    We do not believe you are affected by this bug on the c66 tool chain with that particular compiler.  This was discovered on ARM and C2000 tool chain.

    If somehow, you were affected by this (Which we strongly believe you are not), you should move to SYSBIOS 6.40.04.47 which is binary compatible to the version you are using which contains the fix.
