We would like to collect some information on the following micro processor which we have shortlisted for one of  our projects;

 

Part Number : TMS320C6727B ; Floating point DSP

 

1.      Our current requirement needs to maintain space qualified standard. Would you categorise this micro processor under space qualified category?

         Please note that our requirement is categorised under space qualified and not aerospace.

2.      Could you also confirm if this microprocessor follows the Telecordia standard.

 

If this does not qualify under space qualified and Telecordia can you please suggest a microprocessor that will meet both these specs? We require a rad-tolerant part of up to at least 100Krad.

    Please go to TI.com and do a search for C6727. You will be presented with a table of the various part number versions for that DSP. You can check the specs for each to see which meets your need. The -EP and -SP are the special versions that you will want to consider.
